OPM approached SMS for multiple solutions to retail display needs. Development of this complete solution began with a package that would clearly display five blades while allowing room for stand-out branding and benefit information. Next, SMS developed a big-box friendly palate design for stores like Costco, Sam's Club, and Home Depot. The solution presents as much product as possible within the parameters of a standardized space, ensuring brand exposure and accessibility.
As a final step, SMS developed a smaller display for stores like Ace Hardware and True Value. We responded to quantity restrictions (20 clam shells per display as opposed to over 100) with a compact alternative. All three solutions are holding up well in stores, and the eye-catching designs are helping the packs sell well. This cutting-edge design for saw-blade packaging and display has already helped OPM improve sales of their combination packs in both large and small retail outlets.
